Dean and I are hitting the road for our weekly Words Cause Radio Show on BlogTalkRadio.com! One of the great things about BTR is the combination of Internet technology with Phone Tech. Utilizing my favorite cellular service, I’ll be connecting up via a Verizon Wireless network card and calling in on my Verizon cell phone. Dean… He’ll be using one of those lame iPhones :-D But you don’t want to miss this weekend’s show!

This road show has particular significance for both Dean and me. Niether of us have gotten out on our motorcycles as much as we like to lately. We also have riden through the town of Solvang, CA, but never stopped. Certainly not for a radio show!

The ride up to Solvang is incredible. It is some of the most beautiful scenery in Southern California. Solvang itself is an incredible town. A model Danish city just north of Los Angeles, Solvang has long been a destination for people looking to get away from the city and enjoy some authentic European culture. It has been years since I’ve been there. How much impact has the failed economic plans of Bush and our Congress had on this once bustling tourist attraction? We’re going to find out, and we just might swing by the Vintage Motorcycle museum!
