Proposition 8 is pretty much on its way to banning gay marriage in California. Gay couples will have about 5 days to get themselves into city hall to get married.
The biggest question mark on the ballot measure is whether Proposition 11 is going to allow California to define our own districts for elections as opposed to the people who get elected deciding who elects them. It should have been a no-brainer, but is going to be an incredibly close vote with only a 100,000 margin in favor at the time of this writing.
