Rove Predicts Obama Landslide

Karl Rove, the orchestrator of the two unlikely W. victories predicts not just a victory for Barack Obama but a landslide. Is this a final ploy by Rove to make sure Republicans come out in droves to support McCain? Or is it Rove being realistic about a poorly run campaign by McCain, a superbly run campaign by Obama, and a US Economy that has fallen so far into a septic tank that it won’t be until late 2009 that we really start seeing recovery?

I’ve been predicting an Obama landslide for a couple of months, but I’ll add another prediction. There will be more incumbents in Congress who lose their seats than ever before. I’m not talking about a Democratic take over (although that is likely). I’m predicting incumbents, regardless of their party affiliation, are going to lose their seats.

Congress has been doing a HORRIBLE job with our money and our resources. Congress is as much to blame to the economic problems we are encountering as W. It’s not like W is sitting there on the finance committees and banking committees in Congress. In fact, it was a Democratically chaired committee in 2004 that said Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are sound businesses.

Again, my prediction is a large number of incumbents losing their seats today. This should pave the way for a Congress that is held accountable for their actions. To further support accountability in government, Californians should Vote YES on Proposition 11.
