McCain Want More Government Control

Last Night’s Monday Night Football was great to watch. Not the game, but the halftime interviews with John McCain and Barack Obama by ESPN’s Chris Berman. When asked what he’d change about sports, Obama gave a very typical sports *fan* response: College Football Championship playoff. Who doesn’t want college playoffs in football?
McCain’s answer, while noble, showed the direction he wants to take the country. Federal government control of everything. The professional sports industry does not need to be regulated by the federal government. If there are illegal activities taking place, certainly athletes should end up in jail. But couldn’t McCain come up with something that was a little less Grandpa McCainish?
