Today, there are some good news about the war in Iraq. Lance Cpl. David Motari was kicked out of the corps shortly after a video surfaced of him throwing a puppy off a cliff. The video has since been deleted from Youtube, but it was one of those you could find along with the videos showing soldiers blowing up dogs and making a kid chase after a bottle of water for several blocks.

The official statement from the Marines was, “the actions seen in the Internet video are contrary to the high standards we expect of every Marine and will not be tolerated.” This is exactly the action the Marines should have taken, and it shows an excellent effort by the Marine Corps to maintain the extraordinary level of service and courage they are renowned for. Will the bottle chasing kid have vindication soon as well?
