Fourth Lesson from Sex and the City

Marriage is always easier in a courthouse. HUGE plot spoiler here! Anyone who plans to see the movie should not be reading this page!

Big and Carrie finally do get married at the end of the film. They realized that they had turned their love for one another into something bizarre and twisted with their 250 person wedding. They realized they still loved each other and wanted to be with just one another.

What set off the entire film with Big skipping out on their wedding on the wedding day was closed with a brief (and uneventful) wedding ceremony at a courthouse. None of the women showed up until the end of the ceremony. It was simple. No Big getting cold feet. No Carrie wearing a bird on her head. Simple. Easy. Done!
