Sgt. Merlin German Dies: George W. Bush is to Blame

The war in Iraq pisses me off to now end.  I am a veteran of the USAF and a Vet of the first gulf war, but that was was different. There was a finite objective and clear goals.  We got the job done and got out. There was a reason to be in Iraq that was globally supported.  


But five years after President George W. Bush declared Mission Accomplished, we are still there, killing and dying. There seems no end in site–and everyone knows this.  G.W. Bush should be tried as a criminal and publicly accountable for his acts.  This war was an utter botch of international policy and a complete lapse in judgement. I face more severe consequences getting in a bar fight than our president has for killing and wounding hundreds of thousands of people.


I read an article this morning about the Miracle Marine, Sgt. Merlin German who had his entire body severely burned and his face utterly disfigured. It broke my heart.Miracle Marine There are countless others like Sgt. German who are dead or permanently damaged and I blame George W. Bush 100%. He is the most unpatriotic fascist bastard I can imagine (other than his cronies).  People, we can no longer accept this.  


Our solders deserve our respect and caution in the use of their services.    We need to get them out of Iraq and demand Bush face the court for his utterly arrogant irresponsibility with the lives of our most valuable asset: the people of the United States and specifically, our troops.  



Rest in peace Sgt. Merlin–we will remember you.
