I’ll give you two guesses as to how many families have been running the United States for the last 20 years.Forget about what Hillary Clinton’s policies may or may not be. For God’s sake, the first George Bush promised “no new taxes” and that sure didn’t happen! Hillary’s husband promised massive health care reform, and that didn’t happen. Actually, I guess that was Hillary who promised that wasn’t it?

Anyway, we have from a two party political system to a two family political system: The Bushes and The Clintons! What’s the point of having a democracy? Let’s elect Hillary this time and maybe again in four years. Then we’ll elect W’s brother for a couple of terms. You know… Chelsea might be a good candidate in about 16 years. After that, the Bush daughters will make good presidents. Or maybe a Bush cousin or nephew. How does that sound?

For the past 20 years, we’ve had the same two families at the head of this country. That’s known as a dynasty! If you want to include the power that the first George Bush had as Vice President, make it 28 years. For me, that’s almost my entire life. Give me a break already! I don’t want to see another Bush or Clinton as President for the rest of my life. I don’t want a dynastic political system.
Enough is enough! We are the United States of America! Not the People’s Republic of America. No more John Adams garbage. No more Clintons. No more Ws or HWs or any other Bush for that matter. None of their cousins. None of their nephews or nieces. Whether they did a good job or not, we need to exercise our democracy here, folks!
Let’s start using some old fashioned anti-monarchy rhetoric. We all swam 3,000 miles to get away from a monarchy. Some families, like mine, couldn’t stand monarchy rule so much that they drove another 3,000 miles away from England to California. Let’s throwout the Ming dynasty of America and bring in a McCain or Obama. Help stop the royalty of American politics.
